Darkhan Mynqbay, Deputy Chairman - Head of the APK Secretariat, deputies of the Parliament’s Majilis, the Assembly members, representatives of state bodies, diplomatic corps, ethno-cultural associations, foreign guests of EXPO-2017, scientific intelligentsia, masters of folk-applied art have taken part in the Forum.
The events were launched at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where during EXPO-2017 the detailed presentation of Kazakhstan’s model of public accord and national unity is presented.
Opening the presentation, Gulshara Abdykalikova has noted that Kazakhstan's model of public consent and national unity by Nursultan Nazarbayev has become a recognized standard of a balanced policy in the integration of a multi-ethnic society.
-Our country’s Constitution guarantees and protects the equality of rights of all citizens irrespective of race, nationality, religion and social belonging, Gulshara Abdykalikova said.
The Secretary of State stressed that representatives of more than 100 ethnic groups and 18 confessions live in peace and harmony in Kazakhstan these days.
Also, the Forum guests got acquainted with the exhibition of the mass media special editions from the ethnocultural associations, the work of the fair of products of folk and applied art masters, the "Kіiz Ui – Yeldin Otauy" Concept module, and master classes on the national Kazakh cuisine.
Then the State Secretary and the guests took part in the opening ceremony of the Peace and Harmony Alley, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, on the territory of the Expo Park.
As part of the opening event there was a theatrical procession of ethnocultural associations and creative youth, "Sheberler Auyly" exhibition-fair of folk-applied art masters and “Alga, Kazakhstan” flashmob.
At the end of the Forum, the Secretary of State stressed that the energy of peace and harmony is the cleanest and noblest energy on the planet.
Let everyone who passes along the Peace and Harmony Alley take away a little bit of heat of Kazakhstan’s hospitable and benevolent land.
