Letter of a student of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin

January 29, 2015

In his letter, the 16-year-old Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin says he has been pursuing musical career and already owns intellectual property rights for a number of music pieces.

Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin says he expressed his profound love to his Motherland in a music piece for piano and symphony orchestra titled “The Kazakh rhapsody”.

“It reflects my perception of modern Kazakhstan and its rampant development. I tried to show my emotions through the sounds of music that all of us may easily understand,” the student wrote.

The author stressed that today the traditions of various cultures are becoming increasingly intermixed.

“It is important that the best traits of our culture and our people would be clear and distinct in the newly-emerging international culture,” the letter reads.

Abdyssagin notes the fate of the country is inextricably connected with the fate of its leader.

“Each citizen of Kazakhstan should make his strong contribution into the sphere of his activity, implementing the programmes initiated by the Head of State,” Abdyssagin added.

In conclusion, the young composer expressed his confidence that the “Kazakhstan-2050” Strategy initiated by Nursultan Nazarbayev will be successfully implemented through the efforts of all citizens of Kazakhstan.
