Meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin

At the meeting, the sides discussed key cooperation issues and the road ahead in developing relations in the field of tourism.

Welcoming the President of the Russian Federation, the Head of State noted the productive nature of the previous session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

Noting the timeliness of the topic of the current Interregional Cooperation Forum, the President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of cooperation in the tourism industry in the context of cultural and economic interaction.

In turn, Vladimir Putin stressed that Kazakhstan is one of the main trade and economic partners, and also noted the high rates of promoting bilateral relations.

In addition, the President of the Russian Federation pointed to the great potential for further deepening cooperation between the two countries in tourism.

At the end of the talks, the two leaders heard the presentation of the project for developing the Baikonur space complex. The presidents listened to the information on the progress of the constructing social facilities, results of repairing infrastructure networks and gasification of residential areas in the town of Baikonur.
