Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was briefed on the activities of the digital geo-information centre, Almatygenplan Scientific Research Institute, Almaty Development Centre, Open Almaty public reception. The Head of State reviewed the plans for further arranging the urban space and examined the city’s holographic model in 3D projection form.
The President of Kazakhstan was also informed about implementing major infrastructure projects in the Industrial Zone of Almaty. 39 projects worth KZT144 billion are being implemented here, 5,000 placements have been created owing to the Japanese, Korean, Chinese, German and other foreign investments. In particular, the following facilities are located in the Industrial Zone: Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan LLP, Falcon Euro Bus LLP, Tokyo Rope Almaty LLP, manufacturing, food and light industry enterprises, and waste sorting complex.
Following the visit, the Head of State gave a number of instructions for Almaty’s development.
