Meeting with Rick Perry, US Energy Secretary

During the meeting, the Head of State dwelled on the results achieved during the talks with US President Donald Trump.

Nursultan Nazarbayev positively noted the cooperation of Kazakhstan and the United States in the oil and gas industry and spoke about implementing projects at Tengiz and Kashagan fields.

The President of Kazakhstan drew attention to the need for investors to increase the capacity for processing products in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh leader told about the projects implemented in our country on green energy, and also informed Rick Perry about the opening of the Bank of Low-Enriched Uranium.

In his turn, the US Energy Secretary expressed gratitude for the meeting and named the key factors contributing to the strengthening of investment cooperation.

In the end, the sides exchanged views on the further development of bilateral relations in the oil and gas and energy sectors.
