The Kazakh leader got acquainted with the company’s business, and surveyed its output. During the visit Nursultan Nazarbayev also took part in the ceremony of remote start via teleconference for "Tokyo Rope Almaty" plant for manufacturing steel products in Kazakhstan.
The plant, located in Almaty, will produce a variety of metal products, among them heavy-duty grids for further production of gabion systems used for prevention and elimination of emergency situations.
The projected capacity in the first phase will amount to 5 thousand tons of metal products per year, with its further increase. It is expected that the company’s output will not only be utilized in Kazakhstan, but also supplied to CIS and foreign markets.
