Permanent members of the Foreign Investors’ Council, top managers of the largest transnational corporations in the world expressed their views on prospects of implementing Kazakhstan’s transportation and transit potentials.

Liqun Jin, the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank commented on the implementation of ADB investment projects in the framework of the program for developing republican and regional roads.

“ADB completely supports efforts of the Government of Kazakhstan on construction and rehabilitation of national road networks, which are a key to promoting regional cooperation and trade in Central Asia. Necessary financial maintenance of roads will increase safety, assist to the development of trade and the region, and consequently will cut road transport expenditures. This will also allow attracting reliable partners from private sector to projects on road services.”

Issues of diversifying routs of carbohydrates transportation were the main topic of speeches delivered by top managers of transnational corporations working in oil industry.
