Rashid Tusupbekov informed the President on the results of the Agency’ work that had been done in the first quarter of this year. The disclosure of economic and corruption-related crimes grew by 6.5 percent and 23 percent respectively compared to the same period last year.

The President noted the successful cooperation of the country with Chevron Company.

Talgat Yermegiyayev reported to the President on the work of the Agency, as well as on the issues of sports and healthy lifestyles development.

A.Dzhaksybekov briefed the President on the forthcoming events related to the 20th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. The Minister also told about the progress of preparation for the KADEX-2012 international military hardware and military technical equipment exhibition, which will be held in May in Astana.

The meeting coincided with the 8th of March, International Women’s Day. The Presidetn has congratulated all women of Kazakhstan on the forthcoming 8th of March.

The meeting’s agenda included two issues – on the status of water security, as well as military, economic and military-technical activities of the law-enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan.

S. Akhmetov reported to the President on the results of his working visit to South Kazakhstan region and flood damage mitigation efforts.

The topical issues of further development and increase of management efficiency of the National Fund were discussed at the meeting.
