09.01.2012President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Introduction of Amendments and Supplements to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Issues of Gas and Gas Supply” aimed at bringing the legislation into conformity with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Gas and Gas Supply”.

11.01.2012President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Introduction of Amendments and Supplements to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Issues of Project Finance" aimed at laying the foundations for project finance in the interests of attraction of foreign investments in long-term capital intensive projects.
13.01.2012President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Energy Conservation and Increase of Energy Efficiency” aimed at the establishment of an integral legal framework in the sphere of energy conservation, as well as the formation of national infrastructure in the sphere of energy conservation to provide a transition of the economy to an energy-efficient development.
