The meeting, held in the National Academic Library, was attended by members of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, heads of central and local government agencies, ethnic and cultural associations, secretariats of regional assemblies, as well as scientific and creative intelligentsia, and mass media.
The meeting participants discussed issues related to the Year of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, along with progress in the implementation of the Road Map of Peace and Harmony, the national campaign “APK - 20 Good Deeds!”, major results of work of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly and logistic arrangement.
Noting the importance of the Assembly and ethnic and cultural associations, the Secretary of State stressed that the Year of the Assembly will allow to achieve the main goal, which is to reach out to every citizen of Kazakhstan.
Gulshara Abdykalykova noted the significance of the Year of the Assembly and the upcoming 22nd session of the organisation that will go down in Kazakhstan’s history as a symbol of policy of public consent, unity and stability carried out by Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Following the results of the meeting, the Secretary of State set specific tasks to further strengthen the unity of the people of Kazakhstan.
