During the meeting, the Head of State emphasized our country’s interest in attracting major investors focused on long-term cooperation, the introduction of modern technologies, and the development of manufacturing in Kazakhstan.
In this context, the President expressed his readiness to cooperate with Xiamen Wanli Stone Group, which possesses a complete production chain in the fields of metallurgy and coal chemistry. According to him, this approach aligns with Kazakhstan’s industrial development priorities.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for developing the “Kolzhat” deposit in the Almaty Region, which is set to become a model of a new level of Kazakh-Chinese industrial cooperation. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the development of the deposit must be comprehensive, involving the creation of an integrated industrial chain, including the production of semi-coke, hydrogen, synthesis gas, and high-quality petroleum products. This project is expected to create approximately 2,000 permanent jobs.
Separately, the parties discussed ways to deepen their partnership in the field of critical materials.
For his part, Hu Jingpei presented Xiamen Wanli Stone Group’s plans for further expanding cooperation and thanked the Head of State for his support of joint projects.
